OKEMOS — Colin Walton homered in both games, including a grand slam in game two to lead the Wolves to a CAAC Blue doubleheader sweep. Brennan Walton picked up the game one victory on the mound and hit a home run and Caleb Bonemer went 3-for-3 with a double and a home run for Okemos (11-5, 6-2). Gavin Wegenke finished with three total hits and a double for the Comets.

LESLIE 4, MICHIGAN CENTER 3 / LESLIE 2, MICHIGAN CENTER 0

Henry Bradford went 4-for-6 with an RBI while helping Leslie to a doubleheader sweep. Jackson Fossitt earned the win in the opener and drove in two, while Connor Marciniak struck out 11 while earning the pitching victory in the finale.

CLIO 7, OWOSSO 6 / OWOSSO d. CLIO

Harrison Sydow pitched a complete game shutout in game two to help the Trojans split a doubleheader with Clio. Carson Moore had two RBI and Liam Patrick finished with two hits for Owosso.

Jon Mazza, Owen Feldpausch and Ryan Dahl each notched a team-best 38 to lead Owosso.

Tayor Crosslan made four saves for Holt as it played to a nonleague draw. JV score: Holt 4, St. Johns 1

LAKE FENTON 7, OWOSSO 0

Adeline Mahoney made seven saves and Izzy Jameson added five saves for the Trojans in a loss to Lake Fenton.

SOFTBALL

LESLIE 17, MICHIGAN CENTER 0 / LESLIE 14, MICHIGAN CENTER 0

Maddy Ream and Myah Flecther each hit a home run in game one as the Blackhawks secured two victories over Michigan Center. Ada Bradford, Adriana Fogg and Jalen Fossitt each finished with six total RBI and Gabby Waldofsky tallied five hits for Leslie.

HASLETT 11, LANSING 1 / HASLETT 14, LANSING 3

Zoe Chapin combined for six hits and five RBI to lead the Vikings to a pair of CAAC Red wins over Lansing. Malorie Pinkelman four hits and two RBI and Abby Johnson tacked on three hits and three RBI for Haslett. Avyanna Vidal picked up three hits and a RBI for Lansing.

CLIO 5, OWOSSO 0 / CLIO 5, OWOSSO 2

Bella Harris finished with two hits and a triple for the Trojans in a defeat to Clio. Danika Dwyer picked up three total hits and a RBI for Owosso.

GIRLS TENNIS

ST. JOHNS 7, GRAND LEDGE 1

The Redwings picked up all but one singles match as they secured a nonleague win over Grand Ledge.
