Prep basketball circuit Grind Session makes stop in Albuquerque

Dec. 28—The Grind Session, a high-level international basketball circuit that features prep school teams like Albuquerque Prep, will be holding a two-day, eight-team event at Menaul School on Friday and Saturday.

In addition to Albuquerque Prep, the event will have seven other teams from California, Florida, Arizona, Utah, Colorado and Nevada and costs $15 a day at the door, which covers attendance to all four game each day). Games will also be streamed on WatchStadium.com.

Friday's schedule: West Oaks (Fla.) vs. DNA Prep (Calif.), 3 p.m.; Colorado Prep vs. Eduprize Prep (Ariz.), 4:45 p.m.; Inspire Prep (Ariz.) vs. Albuquerque Prep, 6 p.m.; and Utah Prep vs. SFBA Trinity Prep (Nev.), 8:30 p.m.

Saturday's games also begin at 3 p.m.

The Grind Session features teams comprised of players ranked up and down the Top 100 prep rankings and more than a dozen who have been drafted in the past couple of years into the NBA.
