Power 5 commits, top recruits on football state playoffs rosters in Washington

The high school football state playoffs have arrived, and programs across the brackets are loaded with talented recruits.

Per 247Sports.com records, there are more than 60 players across the state listed on state playoff rosters entering the first round with at least one Division I football offer.

There are 25 recruits who are either committed to a Power Five program, or hold multiple offers from Power Five schools.

Here’s a look at the state’s Power Five commits and top Power Five recruits that are listed on state playoff team rosters entering the first round.

2023 CLASS

WR/DB Caleb Presley, Rainier Beach — Four-star cornerback is considered the state’s top recruit in the senior class by 247Sports and Rivals, and the No. 2 recruit by ESPN. Nationally ranked on the Top247, Rivals250 and ESPN 300 recruiting lists. Collected 29 FBS offers before committing to Oregon on July 5.

WR/DB Jasiah Wagoner, Spanaway Lake — Four-star cornerback is considered the state’s top recruit in the senior class by ESPN, the No. 2 recruit by 247Sports and No. 4 by Rivals. Nationally ranked on the Top247 and ESPN 300 recruiting lists. Collected 16 FBS offers before committing to Oklahoma on July 25. Has 382 all-purpose yards, including 25 catches for 283 yards and two touchdowns, 36 tackles, one tackle for loss, one interception and two passes defended in seven games this season.

RB/LB Jayden Limar, Lake Stevens — Four-star running back is considered the state’s No. 2 recruit in the senior class by Rivals, and No. 4 by both 247Sports and ESPN. Collected 19 FBS offers before committing to Notre Dame on May 26. Averaging 9.4 yards per carry this season, and has 136 carries for 1,276 yards and 23 touchdowns, and 16 catches for 156 yards and two touchdowns.

QB Gabarri Johnson, Lincoln — Four-star quarterback is considered the state’s No. 3 recruit in the senior class by both Rivals and ESPN, and No. 5 by 247Sports. Nationally ranked on the ESPN 300 recruiting list. Collected nine FBS offers before committing to Missouri on May 8. Has completed 97-of-140 passes for 1,908 yards and 20 touchdowns to four interceptions, and added 136 carries for 1,360 yards and 18 touchdowns in 10 games this season.

OL/DL Micah Banuelos, Kennedy Catholic — Four-star offensive lineman is considered the state’s No. 3 recruit in the senior class by 247Sports, No. 5 by Rivals and No. 6 by ESPN. Nationally ranked on the Top247 recruiting list. Collected nine FBS offers before committing to USC on July 25. Plays left tackle for a Lancers offense that has averaged 426.2 total yards through 10 games this season, and added 32 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and one sack.

RB/LB Isaiah Carlson, Ferndale — Three-star athlete is considered the state’s No. 7 recruit in the senior class by ESPN, No. 10 by Rivals and No. 12 by 247Sports. Holds six Division I offers. Has 183 carries for 1,372 yards and 26 touchdowns this season.

OL/DL Landen Hatchett, Ferndale — Three-star offensive lineman is considered the state’s No. 5 recruit in the senior class by ESPN, No. 6 by 247Sports and No. 8 by Rivals. Collected 16 Division I offers before committing to Washington — where older brother Geirean Hatchett is a redshirt freshman — on June 29.

TE/DL Jacob Lane, Emerald Ridge — Three-star defensive end is considered the state’s No. 9 recruit in the senior class by Rivals, No. 14 by 247Sports and No. 17 by ESPN. Collected 10 Division I offers before committing to Washington on June 20. Has nine catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns, and 30 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, five sacks, one safety, two quarterback hurries, an interception returned for a touchdown and blocked punt returned for a touchdown in eight games this season.

WR/DB Andre Jordan Jr., Federal Way — Three-star cornerback is considered the state’s No. 10 recruit in the senior class by 247Sports and No. 15 by ESPN. Collected six Division I offers before committing to Oregon State on July 8. Has 38 catches for 701 yards and 11 touchdowns this season.

RB/LB Xe’ree Alexander, Kennedy Catholic — Three-star linebacker is considered the state’s No. 11 recruit in the senior class by ESPN and No. 16 by 247Sports. Collected five Division I offers before committing to Arizona State on Aug. 8. Has 44 carries for 444 yards and 10 touchdowns, one receiving touchdown, and 60 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, four sacks, five caused fumbles, one fumble recovery, an interception returned for a touchdown and kickoff return for a touchdown in 10 games this season.

TE/DL Tucker Ashcraft, O’Dea — Three-star tight end is considered the state’s No. 18 recruit in the senior class by ESPN and No. 20 by 247Sports. Has collected seven Division I offers and committed to Colorado on April 16. Has 11 catches for 230 yards and two touchdowns, and seven tackles and one sack this season.

OL/DL Ashton Tripp, Kennewick — Three-star offensive lineman is considered the state’s No. 21 recruit in the senior class by 247Sports and No. 22 by ESPN. Committed to Washington State on April 27. Has 16 pancake blocks and no sacks allowed on the Lions’ offensive line this season.

2024 CLASS

OL/DL Isendre Ahfua, O’Dea — Four-star offensive lineman is considered the state’s top recruit in the junior class by both Rivals and ESPN, and No. 2 by 247Sports. Nationally ranked on the Top247, Rivals250 and ESPN 300 recruiting lists. Holds 20 FBS offers. Blocks for an O’Dea offense that has averaged 386.1 total yards through nine games this season, and added three tackles.

RB/DB Jason Brown, O’Dea — Four-star running back is considered the state’s top recruit in the junior class by 247Sports, and No. 2 by both Rivals and ESPN. Nationally ranked on the Top247, Rivals250 and ESPN 300 recruiting lists. Holds 20 FBS offers. Averaging 8.6 yards per carry this season, and has 148 carries for 1,275 yards and 13 touchdowns, five catches for 81 yards, three kickoff returns for 125 yards and one touchdown, six tackles, one tackle for loss and two sacks.

TE/LB Hogan Hansen, Bellevue — Four-star tight end is considered the state’s No. 3 recruit in the junior class by both Rivals and ESPN, and No. 6 by 247Sports. Nationally ranked on the Top247 and ESPN 300 recruiting lists. Holds 16 FBS offers. Key blocker in the Wolverines’ Wing-T offense has eight catches for 178 yards and six touchdowns, and 12 tackles, 2 1/2 tackles for loss and 3 1/2 sacks this season.

RB/LB Brayden Platt, Yelm — Four-star linebacker is considered the state’s No. 3 recruit in the junior class by 247Sports, and No. 4 by both Rivals and ESPN. Nationally ranked on the Top247 and ESPN 300 recruiting lists. Holds 10 FBS offers. Has 55 carries for 765 yards and 18 touchdowns, eight catches for 160 yards and one touchdown, 43 tackles, five tackles for loss and one sack in eight games this season.

WR/DB Rahshawn Clark, Federal Way — Four-star athlete is considered the state’s No. 4 recruit in the junior class by 247Sports and No. 6 by Rivals. Nationally ranked on the Top247 recruiting list. Holds 12 FBS offers. Has 17 catches for 405 yards and seven touchdowns this season.

WR/DB Marquawn McCraney, Highline — Four-star safety is considered the state’s No. 5 recruit in the junior class by both 247Sports and Rivals. Nationally ranked on the Top247 recruiting list. Holds seven Division I offers. Has 24 catches for 510 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.

WR/DB Kyan McDonald, O’Dea — Three-star cornerback is considered the state’s No. 7 recruit in the junior class by Rivals and No. 9 by 247Sports. Holds eight FBS offers. Has five catches for 51 yards and one touchdown, 35 tackles, three tackles for loss, four knockdowns and five punt returns for 58 yards this season.

RB/DB Unterrio Latin-Henley, Washington — Three-star running back is considered the state’s No. 12 recruit in the junior class by 247Sports. Holds four FBS offers. Has 608 all-purpose yards, including 55 carries for 473 yards and five touchdowns and eight catches for 135 yards and one touchdown, 10 tackles, one tackle for loss and one pass defended in six games this season.

RB/LB Isaiah Patterson, Yelm — Three-star linebacker is considered the state’s No. 11 recruit in the junior class by 247Sports. Holds two FBS offers. Has 78 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and 10 sacks this season.

WR/DB Tyson Weaver, Eastside Catholic — Three-star cornerback is considered the No. 14 recruit in the junior class by 247Sports. Holds three FBS offers.

2025 CLASS

RB Jayshon Limar, Lake Stevens — Sophomore running back holds four FBS offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Notre Dame — where older brother Jayden Limar is committed — and Washington State.

2026 CLASS

DL Derek Colman-Brusa, Kennedy Catholic — Freshman defensive end holds two FBS offers from Washington and Washington State. Has 30 tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack, one fumble recovery and one defensive touchdown this season.

DL Fameitau Siale, O’Dea — Freshman defensive end holds two FBS offers from Louisville and Miami. Has 21 tackles, two tackles for loss and two sacks this season.
