Post Malone Flaunts Major Weight Loss at 2023 CMA Awards

Post Malone was officially in the house for the 57th Annual CMA Awards.

The rapper and singer, 28, showed up in style to country music's biggest night on Wednesday, Nov. 8, as he walked the red carpet at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

The "Dial Drunk" crooner was practically dripping with cool as he cleaned up in a black suit, accessorized with a silver bolo tie and a cowboy hat to add a little extra country flair.

Malone appeared to be all smiles in the red carpet shots, while he beamed with confidence after losing a significant amount of weight over the past year.

The Grammy-nominated artist—whose real name is Austin Richard Post—previously got candid about his weight loss journey, after fans started to become concerned over his drastic change in body weight.

But Malone cleared things up with an Instagram post back in April, where he addressed speculation from his fans, specifically those who were wondering if he was taking drugs.

"hello everybody, I hope you're having a great night. i wanted to say that i'm not doing drugs. i’ve had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and i’d suppose, performance on stage," he wrote in the caption, before clarifying that he has "never felt healthier" than he does now.

The reason, he explained, had everything to do with the birth of his first child, after he welcomed a baby girl with his fiancée in May 2022.

"i guess dad life kicked in and i decided to kick soda, and start [sic] eating better so i can be around for a long time for this little angel," the post continued. "next up is smokes and brews, but i like to consider myself a patient man… lol!"
