Post Malone declared two fans married ‘in the eyes of space’ onstage at Seattle show

Post Malone officiated a wedding onstage for two of his fans at his Seattle show, and now they hope he’ll attend their official ceremony next year.

In a viral TikTok video, influencer Heidi Lavon described how the rapper had just married her best friends and posted a few short clips of the unofficial ceremony.

The impromptu ceremony took place onstage at the Climate Pledge Arena on Nov. 5. Jana Schuster came up with the idea for Malone to marry her and her fiancee Randee Metayer at the show, the Seattle Times reported.

Their original plan to have a civil ceremony fell through when they couldn’t find a judge, so Schuster made a sign asking Malone to “Be our judge and marry us!” that she sneaked into the pit, the outlet reported. While Malone signed autographs after the show, Schuster handed him the sign and he brought them up onstage to officiate.

Stadium seats behind them were empty and the arena was smoky, and a small crowd of people cheered from the pit.

They exchanged brief vows, and Malone told them “you may kiss your partner right now.”

“In the eyes of space, I declare these two lawfully wedded,” Malone said as he held the couple’s hands up in the air.

Now the couple is hoping Malone will show up for their official wedding ceremony in March, Lavon said in the video. She asked people to tag Malone in the comments and urge him to show up to the ceremony.

One of Schuster’s dreams is to play beer pong with the rapper, she told the Seattle Times. They have a wedding celebration planned for March 3 in Mexico, and are hoping he’ll be able to make it.

Malone’s tour wraps the month before in Australia, according to his tour schedule.

Malone is known for the notable acts of kindness he shows to his fans and people in general.

Last year, he teamed up with Crocs and the nonprofit Musicians on Call to donate 10,000 pairs of his exclusive Duet Mac Clog II Crocs to be handed out in 70 hospitals across the country, McClatchy News previously reported.

At a tour stop in Tulsa, he helped fans do a gender reveal for their baby by opening an envelope taped to a poster and reading the results to them, Billboard reported. “You’re going to be a girl dad,” the outlet reported he said to the father.

At an Oct. 9 show in New York, he fulfilled a request from a fan to draw her next tattoo on the poster she brought to the show, People reported.

The bright green sign read “POSTY PLEASE DRAW MY NEXT TATTOO” with a Sharpie attached, the outlet reported.

Users who commented on Lavon’s video seemed to think him showing up for their wedding is a likely possibility.

“Posty seems like such a cool dude,” one wrote, to which Lavon replied “he’s such a big sweety pie!”
