Down three runs late, Aurora baseball rallied to top Roosevelt in extra innings, 6-5.

Trailing 5-2, the Greenmen scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth and the tying run in the seventh, then won it in the eighth. Jayce Unverferth provided two scoreless innings of relief for Aurora.

Jameson Embrescia sparked the Greenmen offensively with two runs and four stolen bases while Aydan Carlson had a team-high two hits, including their lone extra-base hit with a double.

Scottie Spears led the Rough Riders with a single, a homer, a walk, two runs and two RBIs.

Garfield 13, Liberty 1

Alex Carter and Grant Warnick combined on a no-hitter, with Carter striking out six over four innings and Warnick tossing the fifth.

The G-Men jumped in front with three runs in the first and six in the second. Leo Grandizio fueled Garfield with a homer and a team-leading four RBIs, while Brock Pesicek had two doubles and Brandyn Bogucki went 3 for 4.

Southeast 6, Northwestern 3

Nate Muncy tossed a gem for the Pirates, holding the Huskies to three runs (two earned) and striking out 12 batters over seven innings.

Joe Sharish and Logan West each had a double and two walks to lead Southeast at the plate.

Norton 14, Ravenna 4

The Panthers scored in each of the first four innings to build a sizable lead.

Jacob Ford led Norton, going 3 for 4 with a double, while Matthew Fuller singled and doubled to lead Ravenna.

Field 12, Lake 2

The Falcons won the first game of Saturday's doubleheader, scoring five runs in the second and four more in the third. Delilah Rahe had a homer and two singles, Kailyn Gressman recorded two doubles (and got the win in the circle) and Lilli Sutkowy mustered three singles.

Field nearly swept the doubleheader, breaking a 5-5 tie with a run in the top of the eighth, before Lake responded with two in the bottom of the inning. The Falcons (16-2) fell despite a single and a double from Sutkowy.

Edgewood 10, Streetsboro 5

Olivia Knepper had a pair of singles for the Rockets in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader, a 10-5 loss.

Hailey Miller had a double, two singles and three RBIs in the second game, a 12-2 win, while Khloe Cutright added two singles and two RBIs and Danielle LaFlame had a single and three RBIs. Amy Rein picked up the win in the circle for Streetsboro (8-11).
