Popular restaurant known for custard and steakburgers opens this weekend in East Peoria
In East Peoria, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers will open its doors on Oct. 21.

Where is Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers located?
The business − located in the Levee District − is situated at 134 E. Spinder Drive.
According to a news release, the inside of the restaurant will be able to accommodate just under 100 guests. The business will also offer outdoor seating and a drive thru.
What's on the menu at Freddy's?
The restaurant is known for its steakburgers and frozen custard.
While a menu for the East Peoria location is not yet posted, the business's main website lists burgers such as the "grilled cheese steakburger" and the "jalapeno pepper jack double." For custard, favorites include "Dirt 'N Worms" with crushed Oreos and gummy worms, as well as a traditional turtle custard.
What are the hours of operation?
The new Freddy's location will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the store will operate from 10:30 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has more than 500 locations across the United States.
The franchisee for the Peoria store, MLY Investments, currently operates nine locations in Iowa. The next closest locations to Peoria are over 60 miles away in Springfield, according to the business's location finder.
