Popular burger chain opening restaurant in this former Johnson County pub space

National burger chain Five Guys is opening in the former Saints Pub + Patio space in Shawnee, according to developer Copaken Brooks.

Five Guys aims to open in June at 11900-B Shawnee Mission Parkway in 10 Quivira Plaza.

The burger restaurant is taking over half of the old Saints space, while OrangeTheory Fitness has been open in the other half for a few years.

Saints opened there in 2013, replacing Waxy O’Shea’s Irish Pub. It closed about four years later but has locations in the Lenexa City Center at 16804 W. 89th St. and in Independence at 20220 E. Jackson Drive.

This will be Five Guys’ 13th location in the Kansas City area. Its other restaurants include one nearby in Mission at 5922 Barkley St., Suite 101.
