Popular amusement center is closing its doors in Bossier City. Here's what you need to know

A childhood favorite will be closing its doors, after 30 years of business. Party Central announced on May 22 that it will be closing Sunday, May 26.

Party Central made this announcement on Facebook, with a post that stated, "With heavy hearts and deep gratitude, we announce the closing of Party Central Family Fun Center."

The post went on to state that the owners will be retiring and have decided to sell the property to private investors.

"This decision marks the end of an incredible chapter in our lives, and we look forward to what lies ahead," owners Bernadette and Bubba Chandler said.

Party Central began in 1996 as a home-based rental company and in 2000 it moved to its brick-and-mortar location on Viking Drive in Bossier City. Since then, it has served as a family fun center for all of northwest Louisiana.

The post said, "Party Central has been more than just a fun center – it’s been a place where countless memories were made. We’ve been honored to host your birthday parties, family gatherings, and special events."

Saturday, May 25, will be the final day for full-service operations and Sunday will mark the official closing date with arcades and mini golf available until 8 p.m.

If you have gift cards, tickets and tokens they must be redeemed by Saturday.
