When do pools open in the Binghamton area? Here's the 2024 schedule
With kids eagerly anticipating summer and employees waiting to use up vacation days the local pool is a popular and affordable destination. In 2022, City of Binghamton Mayor Kraham waived all admission fees at city pools with a promise to keep it that way as long as he is the mayor.
Several pools in the area open for limited hours beginning Memorial Day weekend, then extend their hours through the summer months.
Swimming safety tips: Always swim with a buddy, never swim without supervision by lifeguards, and never leave young children unattended.

North Side Pool/Cheri Lindsey Park
