Police search underway in northern York County involving Dauphin County homicide: official
A search is underway in an area in Conewago Township in York County in connection with a Dauphin County homicide investigation, said Ted Czech, public information officer with the York County Office of Emergency Management/York County 911.
The search is in the area of Canal Road and the Susquehanna Trail, Czech said.
Susquehanna Township Police are investigating the disappearance of Tracy Scanlon, who has been missing since late February. She has not had contact with her family or friends, according to a news release.
Scanlon, who originally is from Allegheny County, was temporarily residing with an acquaintance in the 3300 block of Union Deposit Road in Harrisburg, the release states.
She was last seen leaving a Wine and Spirits store on Union Deposit Road.
