A suspect believed to have shot five police officers in Benton County, Minnesota, has been arrested.

The incident reportedly occurred near the intersection of 190th Avenue Northeast and Glendorado Road Northeast in Glendorado Township, just west of the city of Princeton.

Five officers were shot, and are currently being treated between two regional hospitals, according to CBS News affiliate WCCO. None of the officers have life-threatening injuries.

Police officials were serving a warrant at the house when the shooting began. The alleged shooter reportedly was barricaded in his home surrounded by guns, according to police radio messages. The public was asked to avoid the scene until further instruction, though there is reportedly no immediate threat to the public.

One officer was reportedly shot in the chest and the pelvis, according to police radio messages.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office said it was being assisted by "several" other agencies.

Authorities confirmed that a SWAT team was deployed, according to Fox9.

Local reporters in Minnesota captured the moment an injured individual at the shooting scene was loaded onto a stretcher and carried off to a waiting armored car.

The injured party was then taken to a waiting helicopter for further transport and medical treatment.
