4 people shot in northwest Fort Worth; one victim in critical condition, police say

Four people were shot late Saturday in northwest Fort Worth near Lake Worth, police said.

An adult was taken to a hospital in critical condition, and two pediatric victims and one adult victim were taken to a hospital with gunshot injuries that are not life-threatening, a MedStar spokesperson said.

The victims were shot about 10 p.m. at Northwest Centre Drive and Buda Lane. A 911 caller reported being shot and that the caller’s brother and cousin were also shot, according to a police call log.

A Fort Worth police spokesperson declined to say whether the victims were inside a residence, business, vehicle or outdoors when they were shot. The Lake Worth Police Department wrote in a tweet that the victims arrived in a vehicle at a QT gas station at 6249 Lake Worth Blvd.

The Fort Worth police spokesperson said there were no suspect descriptions and no one had been taken into custody. The shooting investigation was incomplete.
