Police say the impact knocked Brusenhan into the center turn lane, and he crawled into the first eastbound lane, where a witness said he was struck by a 2016-2018 Toyota RAV4. That driver of that SUV also fled, according to a police report.

The crash is still under investigation. Anyone with knowledge about the involved vehicles can contact the Columbus Division of Police accident investigation unit at 614-645-4767 or submit an anonymous tip to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
