There’s a lot to talk about when it comes to Myrtle Beach.

From its prized beaches to a booming real estate market and hundreds of locally owned restaurants and businesses, America’s fastest growing city is always evolving.

The area is also home to several podcasts dedicated to cataloging all things Grand Strand. Here’s a look at some of the most popular.

1. Dispatches from Myrtle Beach is co-hosted by a nationally known personality

Link Neal and Rhett McLaughlin’s “Good Mythical Morning” YouTube series is followed by more than 21 million people and has featured appearances with actor Daniel Radcliffe, rapper Post Malone and late NBA legend Kobe Bryant.

When the 44-year-old Neal isn’t behind the microphone for that series, he might be riffing on city life with his father Charles on “Dispatches from Myrtle Beach,” a weekly show they launched in June.

Link Neal lives in Los Angeles but is a North Carolina native. His father resides in Myrtle Beach, giving the pair plenty to discuss -- Bike Week, southern slang and Charles’ experience getting struck by lightning are among the topics they’ve broached so far.

2. Margaritas and Moms mixes pop culture with parenting

Jen Brunson and Shannon Furtick have day jobs working on business development and marketing with the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, but kick back with adult beverages to talk about mom life on the sand.

Their “Margaritas and Moms” is 20 episodes in after launching earlier this year. They’ve covered a lot of ground, from giving birth to giving birthdays.

In football crazy South Carolina, Brunson and Furtick have also talked about how prepare for fantasy football dominance and the best local spots to catch a college or NFL game.

3. Golf. Obviously, there’s golf talk.

Mini golf, championship courses, PGA swag and proper range etiquette are all among the topics that “Welcome to Puttsville” have taken a swing at since making its September debut.

Considering the sport has a $3.3 billion impact on the state’s economy and contributed 38,000 jobs, it’s unlikely the podcast will putter out before running out of topics.

The hosts also touch nationally trending issues, such as the LIV Tour’s rising popularity and best holiday gifts for duffers.

Golf fans can also check out “The Daily Mayhem with Jack Package,” which chronicles “an annual pilgrimage by 12 aging, really bad golfers to Myrtle Beach for a 4 day Ryder Cup tournament.”

4. Carolina beach music, shag dancing and all things 60s come with this podcast

Tommy Hamrick has been DJing across the Myrtle Beach area for 40 years, and was inducted into the Beach Music DJ Hall of Fame in 1998.

His “Little Tommy’s Beach Music Podcast” turns the clock back to the 1960s with episodes dedicated to hitmakers of the era including legendary songwriting duo Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, Smokey Robinson, Curtis Mayfield and James Brown.

There’s also deep cuts from independent soul record labels and retrospectives about a given year in music.
