Saturday Night Live trio Please Don’t Destroy aims to deliver comedy gold and actual gold in the full-length trailer for the upcoming Peacock movie Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain.
Written by and starring Please Don’t Destroy members Martin Herlihy, John Higgins and Ben Marshall — all of whom write for SNL and regularly star in well-received digital shorts on the show — The Treasure of Foggy Mountain finds the men on a bizarre, eventful search for the titular loot, in an effort to make some money and not be perceived as losers by their friends and family.

“John Goodman narrates the adventure of Ben, Martin, and John, three childhood friends turned deadbeat co-workers, who fend off hairless bears, desperate park rangers and a hypocritical cult leader in the hopes of finding a priceless treasure, only to discover that finding the treasure is the easiest part of their journey,” the logline teases. “Oh, and Conan O’Brien plays Ben’s dad in it.”
The film also stars Bowen Yang (SNL), Meg Stalter (Hacks), X Mayo (American Auto), Nichole Sakura (Superstore), Cedric Yarbrough (Reno 911!) and Sunita Mani (GLOW). Judd Apatow and Jimmy Miller (Bad Teacher) produce.
