Plainview authorities are seeking help finding an elderly woman who went missing on Wednesday.

Police say Oveta Chambliss, 81, was last seen at her Plainview home around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, but a relative reported she was not home and had not returned by Thursday morning.

Authorities say Chambliss suffers cognitive memory loss and may need help.

Chambliss is described as a 5-foot-2-inch, 168-pould white female with brown hair, brown eyes and glasses. She was last seen wearing a blouse with a floral design, a green sweater and blue jeans.

She may be driving a blue 2018 Ford Edge with Texas license place PNL6575.

Anyone with information about Chambliss' whereabouts is asked to call the Plainview Police Department at 806-296-1182.
