Holiday commercial rankings:

Apple 'Fuzzy Feeling' Commercial

Apple dropped its annual holiday themed ad last week as Christmas is right around the corner. The nearly four-minute video uses "stop-motion animation" to tell a cute story that shows how people may appear as Scrooges but instead are really looking for companionship. The main character in the commercial goes from dreading her boss to empathizing with him and the video ends with the two having lunch together. The advertisement wants us to see the good in people even when they may come off as audacious as the main character eventually sees her boss in a new light. "I really hope people see our characters and our story and get inspired to try things out for themselves," said Anna Mantzaris, the stop-motion director of the commercial.

A Holiday to Remember: Chevrolet

This emotional five-minute commercial by the car company will make you shed a tear. The ad shows a family together for the holiday season where the focus is on the grandmother who seems to be suffering from memory loss as one relative says sometimes she does not recognize him. Chevrolet reminds us to cherish our time with loved ones this holiday season. The younger family member takes the woman for a drive to the important locations in her life and eventually she begins to remember her past. The emotional end captures a beautiful moment with the husband and wife hugging each other as she joins the family for a holiday dinner. One line that hits close to home for many New Jersey residents is when the young adult says "It never seems to snow as much as it used to," as the Garden State has not seen a great amount of snow these past few winters.

Capital One Christmas: 'Holiday Night Fever'

Many holiday commercials can get heavy with emotion, but others are simply fun. That is the case for Capital One's advertisement that features John Travolta dressed as Santa Claus. Travolta skips across different stores making purchases with his credit card before busting a few dance moves to the iconic "Staying Alive" playing throughout the commercial. It's short, silly and does a nice job getting a high-end actor into the Christmas spirit.

Coca-Cola: Anyone can be Santa

This heartwarming advertisement highlights the joy in the holiday season. Kindness is spread throughout the commercial with a bunch of Santas doing nice deeds for each other such as one gives the last soda to his fellow Santa Claus and one Santa is helping another lift weights. The commercial transitions to other people in street clothes assisting each other. It's important to not be help others during the holidays, and not be a Grinch.
