Here is a look at the latest individuals in the running to be voted the Lansing State Journal high school athlete of week.

Voting is open until noon Wednesday to determine a winner, who will be featured in the LSJ.

Tori Briggs, Fowlerville softball

The Central Michigan signee contributed to the Gladiators winning the Portland Spring Sports Carnival tournament Saturday. She improved to 9-1 in the circle by pitching eight innings and allowing just two runs and striking out six in a win over Portland. Briggs also had a hit in that game. In the win over Saranac, Briggs went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Brigss also hit four home runs during a doubleheader against St. Johns earlier in the week.

Brody Moore, Portland baseball

Moore hit two grand slams Thursday while contributing to the Raiders earning a split with St. Johns. The two grand slams were part of a doubleheader when Moore went 4-for-6 with four runs scored and a walk.

Kylie Pastor, Haslett Williamston lacrosse

The senior played a role in Haslett Williamston clinching the CAAC title with wins East Lansing and St. Johns/Ovid-Elsie and a nonleague win over Forest Hills Northern Eastern. She allowed just three goals during the week and recorded her second shutout of the season in goal and the sixth of her career.

Colin Walton, Okemos baseball

The senior contributed to a week that included CAAC Blue sweeps of Grand Ledge and Waverly. He homered in both games against Grand Ledge on Monday, which included a grand slam. He had homers in both games against Waverly and struck out 10 on the mound while earning the pitching win.

Donald Wells, Lakewood track and field

The junior broke the school record in the 400 during the Portland Track Invitational on Saturday. He had a time of 50.29 while taking first in the event and broke a school record hat had stood since 1976. The record-setting performance helped the Vikings to a runner-up team finish. Wells owns the second-fastest 400 time in Greater Lansing this spring. He also set a personal record Tuesday while winning the 200 with a time of 23.40 in a CAAC White matchup against Charlotte.
