Trevor Lawrence is making his NFL debut on Sunday. So far, it hasn’t gone very well.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently trailing the Houston Texans, 14-0. It’s been a rough start for the Jaguars, as Lawrence and head coach Urban Meyer are making their professional debut.

It’s been a big year for Lawrence.

The former Clemson Tigers quarterback was the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft. However, that wasn’t the biggest move of his offseason.

The biggest move of his offseason: getting married.

Lawrence married his longtime girlfriend, Marissa Mowry.

Marissa shared a heartwarming message for Trevor earlier this year.

“It’s been an interesting thing to navigate a world of “fame.” It’s such a weird term. A foreign word. We were never meant to be in a place higher than at our knees in submission and awe of the lord. But our world has learned to pick people up and put them in a place God never intended but somehow God still uses it for good and his glory… I’ve just had a few thoughts from this side and it’s that we really are all the same. We’re all figuring it out. We all have struggles. Hard days. Amazing days. I love this life I live. I’m forever in awe of God and why he has had so much grace over my life. Over my relationships. Gratitude is a powerful word and I sing it every day. Thank you God,” she wrote.

Mowry is surely watching her husband closely on Sunday.
