Photos: Danica Patrick’s Top SI Swimsuit Pictures
The 2021 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue had one of the best athletes in the world on the cover. Women’s tennis star Naomi Osaka was one of three cover models for this year’s issue.

Osaka, of course, is not the first big-time athlete to pose for the issue. Alex Morgan, Genie Bouchard, Lindsey Vonn, and Maria Sharapova, among others, have all posed for the issue over the years.
Danica Patrick is on that list, too. The former race car driver turned business woman posed for the iconic magazine issue in 2008 and ’09.

Patrick has opened up about her experience with the magazine, too. She said it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“I had so much fun. It was a great experience and I loved it completely. Like, I wish I was a swimsuit model because it was really fun,” Patrick told SI.com.
Patrick continues to have a pretty big presence on social media. She has more than 800,000 followers on Instagram and is constantly updating her Instagram Story.
The former NASCAR driver is currently preparing for the Boston Marathon.
The 2021 Boston Marathon is set for Oct. 11.
