There might not be a prettier sight in sports than Lambeau Field covered in snow. Fortunately for the NFL world, that’s the scene for today’s NFC Championship between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers.

Kickoff is still a few hours away, but pictures of Lambeau Field have emerged on social media. Although it will not snow during the actual game, the seats at the stadium are currently covered with a light later of snow.

From a fan’s perspective, it’ll be really nice to witness one of the most historic venues in this element. It’ll be even better for those in attendance who’ll get to witness two of the best quarterbacks in NFL history square off for a chance to make the Super Bowl.

Lambeau Field is usually referred to as the ‘Frozen Tundra,’ which certainly makes sense after seeing these images.

The weather could play a factor in this afternoon’s game between the Buccaneers and Packers. However, Bruce Arians doesn’t think the frigid conditions will affect his players when they’re on the field.

“Every time I’ve played in Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Cleveland [or] Buffalo, nobody was cold out on the field. It’s more mental and staying warm on the sideline,” Arians said. “We’ve got all that technology now with the heaters and everything else. It’s different, but it’s not that big of a deal for us.”

Coverage of the NFC Championship begins at 3:05 p.m. ET on FOX.
