Lorenzo Serafini had a fashion dilemma for resort. Should he reassure his consumers with a collection rooted in the brand’s DNA or suprise them with something dreamy and forward-thinking?

Since most of the times truth lies somewhere in between, the designer opted for finding a balance between the two different ways. And the results were charming.

“I wanted to create a functional, wearable wardrobe, peppered here and there by special touches,” the designer said. “I think that women currently want to feel comfortable in their quotidian life, but at the same time that they are returning to dream about alluring, sensual things.”

Serafini combined everyday coolness with a touch of feminine glamour. Focusing on an elongated silhouette, for example, he created a range of separates, dresses and jumpsuits crafted from a stretch printed tulle that added an eye-catching twist to items that left the body free to move.

Elevated tracksuits were layered under sartorial blazers and coats injected with mannish appeal, while deconstructed hoodies were paired with plissé tulle skirts.

Compact knitted sweaters and ruffled tops, peppered by floral jacquard motifs, were matched with low-rise jeans with a 2000s vibe, or with glossy leather high-waisted short pants.

Girls who cannot wait to return full-time to social life will find in the collection a range of party options, including very chic and quite sculptural dresses and ruffled tulle mini frocks punctuated by sparkling glitters.
