Philly Radio Station Temporarily Bans Taylor Swift Music Ahead of Kansas City Football Game

Ahead of the upcoming Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles football game on Monday, Nov. 20, one Philly radio station is taking action in helping its team to "focus" amid all the hype surrounding one of the players on the rival team, Travis Kelce, dating Taylor Swift.
Radio show Bex and Buster, which airs on station Q102, announced on Wednesday, Nov. 15, that while they have nothing at all against the "Bad Blood" singer, they'll be holding off on playing any of the pop star's music leading up to the big game, where the tight end will face-off against his older brother, Jason Kelce's, squad.
“Q102 loves Taylor Swift and the whole Travis [Kelce] and Taylor thing as much as the rest of the world, but this weekend we’ve gotta focus, so we’ve been forced to punt Taylor Swift from the playlist,” radio personality Buster Satterfield explained during an appearance on Good Day Philadelphia.

“No Taylor Swift will be heard on Q102 all weekend long because there’s only one Swift [and] Kelce duo we care about here in the City of Brotherly Love,” Buster’s cohost, Bex Maroun, chimed in, referring to Jason and Eagles running back D’Andre Swift.
Swift, herself, has long been known as an Eagles fan after growing up in a suburb of Philadelphia, but now, has found herself in the crossfire of the team rivalry due to her blossoming romance with Travis.
The "Cruel Summer" artist first made the switch and public show of support for the opposing team in September, where she was spotted attending a Kansas City sporting event alongside the pro athlete's mom, Donna Kelce.
From then on, the 12-time Grammy winner has consistently cheered him on from the stands—when she's able to, that is, since now Swift is on the international leg of her Eras Tour.
