PGA Championship payout, purse: What to know about prize money at Valhalla Golf Club

The 2024 PGA Championship purse has been set for $18.5 million, $1 million more than last year.

It’s part of the $398,900,000 designated for 37 of the 38 PGA Tour events on the 2024 schedule. The Players Championship offered one of the biggest purses with $25 million and $4.5 million going to the winner.

Xander Schauffele, winner of the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club, will receive $3.3 million, with the rest divided among the other golfers.

Players missing the cut and turning in a 36-hole score will be paid $4,000 each. Any player making the cut, but failing to submit a 72-hole score, will also be paid $4,000.
