Peyton Manning’s Kids Not Happy With His Bracket Advice
They say father knows best, but when it comes to NCAA tournament projections, that might not be the case for Peyton Manning’s children.
When the Manning family did its annual bracket challenge, 11-year-old twins Marshall and Mosley copied their father and picked Peyton’s alma mater Tennessee to win the national championship.
Unfortunately, the Volunteers, seeded third in the South Region, fell to 11th-seeded Michigan in the second round, falling far short of their target and causing the Manning twins to be angry with their father.
“They’re mad at me for bad direction,” Manning told the Indianapolis Star on Friday at the release of his new Kennessee bourbon line.
Peyton’s wife Ashley already won the family bracket, as she had Kansas and Villanova in the Final Four. Apparently though, Marshall and Mosley convinced their dad to have another bracket challenge this weekend using only the national semifinals and title game.
There’s no word on how that went, but we’d wager a guess that the twins did not copy their dad this time.
