The rivalry between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady ranks among the greatest in NFL history. But with Manning long-since retired, he’s in a perfect position to call his former rival overrated in one particular area.

Manning recently did a video where he acted as a rating adjust for the Madden NFL video game franchise. In the video video, he took aim at Brady’s accuracy for being too high on their updating ranking.

“I did especially think that Brady’s accuracy rating was just a big high,” Manning said. “That will probably be one of the first things I address.”

Manning probably meant that as a joke, but he has a good point regardless. Brady has one of the top accuracy rating in Madden NFL 22 despite being outside the top five in completion percentage this season.

Funnily enough, accuracy is probably the only area where Brady has rarely outright dominated the NFL. He led the NFL in that category only once in his Hall of Fame career – a 68.9-percent completion rate in his 2007 season.

Outside of that big year, Brady has never been better than fourth in completion percentage. Among active quarterbacks, he ranks 11th. All-time, he’s 19th.

That said, accuracy has rarely even been an actual issue during a game. He hits his receivers when he needs to and that’s all he needs to do.

Is Tom Brady overrated in terms of his accuracy?
