Peyton Manning and his brother Eli are going to be doing their own broadcast for ESPN’s Monday Night Football tonight. And the two Mannings have a special guest joining them.

On Monday, Peyton Manning announced that there will be at least four guests for the tonight’s broadcast. The first guest will be none other than NBA and sports broadcasting icon Charles Barkley.

The elder Manning and Barkley have a history together. Just last year they were rivals on the golf course for The Match, with Barkley and Phil Mickelson topping Manning and Steph Curry.

But it won’t be the first time that Sir Charles has joined NFL game coverage. Back in 2012, he joined NBC’s NFL coverage for the playoffs.

Interestingly enough, Barkley recently revealed that ESPN offered him a role on their Monday Night Football coverage. But he turned it down out of concern that he would have to pretend to know more about the game than he does.

Peyton Manning and Eli Manning have both turned down lucrative opportunities to step into the broadcast booth. But both of them are bound to give us some great content this coming season.

Having Charles Barkley give his thoughts on the matchup will be great entertainment too. Even if he doesn’t break down a football game as well as the Mannings, he loves the game.

Let’s just hope he doesn’t “guarantee” a win for the Baltimore Ravens or Las Vegas Raiders tonight.
