People Are Going Wild for BJ’s Scarily Delicious Spooky Pizookie

Hold on to your broomsticks folks; there’s a new Halloween treat in town! As if the candy-themed holiday needed to be any sweeter, BJ’s Restaurant has taken the internet by storm with the launch of its newest spooky season confection.
The Huntington Beach-based restaurant chain has been a west coast staple since 1978. Offering everything from pizza to burgers, the regional brewpub recently added a festive dessert to its lineup and the results have been called scarily delicious.
Dubbed the Spooky Pizookie, the decadent dish consists of a cookies and cream skillet cookie topped with Oreo crumbs and neon sprinkles. To take the already over-the-top dessert even further, the treat gets a heaping double scoop of bright orange vanilla ice cream and is finished with a magic shell chocolate sauce.

Officially launched on September 28, the All Hallows Eve-themed dessert has been having quite the moment on social media as of late. Various TikTok users have shared their utter delight at the timely treat, with some opting to purchase the restaurant's appropriately named Pizookie Pass, which guarantees customers a free pizookie a day for the next three months! The unanimous verdict among TikTokers has been that you need to try it immediately — if you’re lucky enough to live close to one that is.
“I want it so bad but the closest BJs is an HOUR away 😭 😭😭,” shared one user on the restaurant's official post.

One user's video posted earlier this month has racked up 4.4 million views and more than 5,000 comments. Simply captioned with "yum," the video had followers questioning what the treat was and where they could find it. "Not me looking for the closest BJs in Tampa 🥺" said one person, while another commented, "I drove 30 mins to bjs for this."

If you’re interested in purchasing a Pizookie Pass of your own, you can do so on the restaurant's website, but you’ll want to act fast. There are only 12,000 passes available for the 3-month pilot and they’re sure to sell out quickly. After the trial period, the pass will revert to a monthly charge. But at the low price of $4.99, the pass pays for itself in just a few visits.
