Penn Badgley Joins Kevin Bacon for 'Best Crossover' Video

If you've been waiting for the ultimate duo to come along, look no further. Penn Badgley and Kevin Bacon have officially formed the most iconic twosome.

The actors—who are both legendary in their own rights—recently teamed up for the ultimate take on the internet trend involving Taylor Swift's song "august"—and let's just say the results are making fans go wild.

In the priceless video shared to social media on Wednesday, Badgley, 36 secures his phone around his neck to film himself running down a hallway, where he crosses paths with Bacon, 65.

The two actors then grab onto each other's arms, swinging together while Swift sings her summertime anthem in the background.

"I can’t I can’t I can’t," one user gushed in response to the wholesome video.

"kevin bacon and penn is the best crossover," someone else added.

"this is everything," another user chimed in, while one commenter called the clip Badgley's "best work to date."

The Gossip Girl alum—who has already shown off his ability to jam out to a Swift track—was labeled "Officially a swiftie," by one of his followers. (Some will remember Badgley's viral TikTok video to "Anti-Hero" earlier this year.)

"you + taylor’s music just work so well together," someone else told Badgley.

"Penn is back in his Joe Goldberg era with that shave," another fan commented, referring to the actor's infamous character on Netflix's You.

Others couldn't get over their envy for Badgley getting to film a video with Bacon, who often sends his own fans into a frenzy with his highly entertaining Instagram content.

"Just casually gettin' footloose with the Baconator himself huh? HOW DOES IT FEEL TO LIVE MY DREAM," one comment read.

The unlikely collaboration comes after the Footloose star appeared as the latest guest on Badgley's Podcrushed podcast.

Bacon also just recently launched his own podcast, Six Degrees with Kevin Bacon, which premiered earlier this month.
