Penélope Cruz Turns Up the Heat in Lace Gown for Magazine Photoshoot

Penélope Cruz won over the internet with her latest photo shoot.
The actress, who turns 50 in a few weeks, showed off her very best model behavior while posing for photos later used for the cover of ELLE Spain's April 2024 issue.
In the series of images, which the movie star shared to her Instagram grid on Tuesday, March 26, Cruz modeled a green and silver checkerboard pattern gown that featured a lacy detail around the neckline and spaghetti straps. Her short hair was styled in beachy waves. To complete the chic look, she rocked natural but radiant glam, which included a neutral smokey eye and flesh-toned lipstick.
She shared the photos with a very simple caption, "@elle_spain @xavigordo 💕," tagging the international magazine and photographer Xavi Gordo.
Julianne Hough was among those stunned by the new photos, simply sharing "Wow ❤" in the comments.
Melanie Griffith added, "Guapa💚💚💚," which means "pretty" in Spanish.
"My jaw dropped ❤️," a third confessed.
"The dress is beautiful🔥🔥❤️🔥," another Instagram user gushed.
"Ma’am how are you doing this 🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍," someone else joked.
Elle Spain also shared a glimpse at a few more photos that made the cut for the magazine's upcoming feature on its Instagram page. These images showed the Ferrari star wearing a latex corset top with a dramatic sweetheart neckline. The second slide also included a close-up of Cruz rocking a bold berry color lipstick and glowy makeup look.
The Vicky Cristina Barcelona actress later posted two of the same photos that the magazine chose to feature, writing in the caption, "Thank you friends of Elle Spain for your love all these years. 🥰."
