Pedro Pascal and Salma Hayek Were Caught in the Best Behind the Scene Oscars Moment

It may be The Last of Us finale night, but Pedro Pascal is somewhere else entirely.
At Sunday's 95th Academy Awards champagne-colored carpet, the actor took the time to snap a few photos with the Magic Mike's Last Dance star Salma Hayek before entering the venue for the biggest night in Hollywood. The pair posed arm-in-arm.
Pedro ditched his typical thick-rimmed glasses and donned a black suit by designer Zegna. He buttoned up his classic suit with a high-necked collared shirt. Looking suave, The Mandalorian actor styled his hair in a smooth coif. Meanwhile, Salma shimmered in a sequined orange gown featuring a plunging halter neckline. She wore her long, dark hair in crimped waves.
Turning their photo op into a family affair, both were joined by Salma's daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault and Pedro's sister Javiera Balmaceda. We can only imagine what they spoke about, but the four laughed together and looked fond in each other's company.
On Twitter, The Last of Us fans gushed about the surprise pairing. "PEDRO PASCAL AND SALMA HAYEK TOGETHER THIS PHOTO IS SO IMPORTANT TO ME," one person tweeted. "GUYS NOBODY [MOVE] ..." another added. "Pedro Pascal and Salma Hayek. That is it. That is the tweet," a different user said.
While on hand as a presenter, Pedro was also Javiera's date for the evening. His sister is in attendance for her involvement in Best International Feature Film nominee Argentina, 1985. On the same night as the Oscars, HBO Max aired the much-awaited season finale of The Last of Us season 1, featuring Pedro and co-star Bella Ramsey.
No doubt, it's an exciting night for all parties!
