In just under an hour, the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints will take the field for a cross-conference showdown.

Both teams sit at 1-1 on the season and need a win to stay afloat in the playoff conversation. Through two games, the Saints have looked like two completely different teams.

New Orleans opened the season with an impressive route of the Green Bay Packers. However, the team followed that up with a blowout loss to the Carolina Panthers last weekend.

Entering Sunday’s game against the Patriots, the Saints received some good news. New England’s starting right tackle, Trent Brown, won’t be suiting up for this afternoon’s game.

It’s a massive loss – both literally and figuratively – against a Saints pass rush that is one of the best in the league. Star pass rusher Cam Jordan will now be going against a backup.

New England enters the game as a slight favorite, but the loss of Brown could change that in a hurry.

The Patriots and Saints kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX.
