Patrick Dempsey Reviews Wife Jillian's 'Kissable' Lip Glosses in (Mc)Dreamy TikTok

Patrick Dempsey is sealing his latest gig with a kiss.

On April 12, the actor and PEOPLE’s 2023 Sexiest Man Alive, 58, suddenly landed on BeautyTok, promoting his makeup artist wife Jillian Dempsey’s new lip gloss launch in a TikTok video.

In the one-minute clip, the actor breaks down each shade in the collection, which creates a plumper and fuller lip look with a hydrating formula for $26. All four shades are available now on jilliandempsey.com.

Dempsey starts with Plush Nude, a brown-pink shade that he says is a “really nice” color. Deluxe Mauve, a cool-toned hue, is simply “a go-to classic” for day, night or if you’re taking “that walk of shame” and need a glam refresh “on your way home on the subway.” For anyone wanting to make their pearly whites a tad more brighter, Dempsey recommends Bubble Pink, which has blue undertones, and for a full frosted lip, the shimmery Golden Pearl is more than ideal.

“These are great because they’re very kissable,” he says of the products. He even shoots the camera a kiss while signing off.

Fans were surprised to see Dempsey in influencer mode, one commenting, ”Never thought I’d see Patrick Dempsey explaining lip gloss colors but I’m here for it,” under the video.

But being the guest star in his wife’s beauty tutorials is a role Dempsey will never turn down.

When the Grey Anatomy alum’s Sexiest Man Alive cover dropped in November, Jillian showed PEOPLE how she prepped his skin and signature salt-and-pepper hair in a behind-the-scenes Instagram video.

Dempsey was also featured in another video on Jillian’s Instagram when, in December 2022, he spontaneously razored off his foxy strands for a buzz cut. The makeup pro, who’s been cutting her husband’s hair since 1995, told PEOPLE at the time that the major transformation was like a “rebirth.”

"Patrick has a fearless nature and allows me to do just about anything with his hair! We treat his hair like it's a sculpture and have a lot of fun trying new things in between projects,” she said of their dynamic when he’s the salon chair and she’s working on the glam.
