As Pat Sajak's reign hosting Wheel of Fortune nears its end, it seems the show's contestants are doing their best to make it the most memorable season.

During Thursday (May 23) night's episode, a contestant named Tavaris didn't hold back with his completely out-of-pocket response that he thought would successfully solve the puzzle.

Tavaris' guess came during the "Phrase" category, and the puzzle, which was missing 10 letters at first, read: “_ _ _ _ I_ _ _E _ _ _T!”

As the letters slowly trickled in with the addition of a "T" and an "E," making it look like "_ _ _ _ I_ T_E B_ _T!,” Tavaris, who is originally from Port St. Lucie, Florida, thought he had the answer.

"Right in the butt?" he incorrectly guessed.

Sajak, 77, simply responded, "No," as the other contestants attempted to cover their mouths and hide the fact that Tavaris' response was a real jaw-dropper.

Eventually, a different contestant named Blake was able to put the stunning response behind them, solving the puzzle, "This is the best!”

"Yeah, that's it, I think! Much better answer," Sajak replied, adding, "How you doing Tavaris? You've already made an impression on us."

"I apologize, but I was a little excited," Tavaris admitted.

Sajak handled it gracefully, telling the contestant, "We'll figure out a way to handle that tastefully. I have no idea what that'll be, but..."

The game show's solution to "handling" the rather filthy moment didn't stop it from quickly going viral online as viewers joked that there is no place for adult humor on the long-running series.

"Sir, this is a classy show," one X (formerly Twitter) user quipped.

"All time #WheelOfFortune moment right here," a second wrote.

"A Wheel of Fortune clip you will be seeing many times throughout the rest of your life," another added.

While Tavaris may be feeling a little humiliated by the answer, he wouldn't be the first to stun the host, fellow contestants and viewers alike with an NSFW guess or embarrassing final answer. And even though Sajak's time on the show is up in June, we have a feeling Tavaris won't be the last one to make a distracting mistake on stage. Whether or not Ryan Seacrest handles it as well as his predecessor? Well, that's the real question.
