Pat McAfee’s Comment On Urban Meyer Is Going Viral

There’s growing belief that Urban Meyer could make a return to the set of FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff.” And if that’s the case, Pat McAfee has a suggestion for the network’s higher-ups.

“No dancefloors,” McAfee recommended during his radio show. “We’ll pay you this, you gotta do this, show up do this, break this film down, give us the three things for everything…and then all of a sudden no dancefloors on these college campuses.”

“Urban Meyer did blame the dancefloor and not himself for that entire thing,” McAfee joked, making light of the situation between the former Jags coach and a young woman at an Ohio bar.

McAfee’s comments got some reaction on social media shortly after.

“Always a great day when Pat and the boys go on an Urban Meyer Rant,” one listener said.

“No dance floors,” another user laughed.

“Urban: Kicks player, FOX: here’s 10 million dollars,” another tweeted.

“Pat McAfee recommends a ‘no dance floors’ contract clause regarding Urban Meyer possibly returning to Fox Big Noon Kickoff Show,” said Jacksonville reporter Ben Becker. “’Urban Meyer did blame the dancefloor and not himself for that entire thing,’ McAfee joked regarding Meyer’s notable incident as Jaguars head coach.”

“Rehabs his image at FOX, becomes the next coach at ______ university, something controversial happens, he steps away because of ‘health,'” commented another user. “Rinse and repeat.”

Meyer’s return could make for must-watch television. We’ll see if it actually goes through.
