Pat Mahomes Sr. Gives Unfiltered Opinion of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift

Pat Mahomes Sr., a retired MLB pitcher and the father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II, had quite the response when asked about his son's teammate, Travis Kelce, and Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

The former baseball star has known the tight end for so long that he described Kelce as "like another son to me," making him a pretty reputable source when it comes to opinions on the 34-year-old record-breaking NFL player.

"I've known him for quite some time because Travis is like another son to me. So I've been around him a lot, and I've been in the booth with Taylor [Swift] before, and she was very nice and genuine," he said during his recent appearance on the Evan & Tiki podcast.

Speaking of booths, Pat wasn't in the room when Travis' older brother Jason Kelce kicked off the shirtless shenanigans—which he later went viral for—but he did see it all happen.

"I was actually two booths down. But as soon as [Jason] started doing that, I started looking down and I saw him," Pat recalled. "Those are some fun guys—if you think Jason is wild, you ought to see Travis!"

"It just so happened that, at some point in the game, we were in the bathroom at the same time," he continued before joking that he hopes not to be in the same booth as the Eagles center for Sunday's Chiefs game against the Ravens.

Pat's comment was all in good fun, though, as he eventually made his way over to the VIP booth where Jason and his family were watching the game.

"So I went over there and hung out with them a little bit after the game, after we'd won."
