Airport spokesman Doug Yakel told the station the passengers deplaned and were re-screened. It was quickly determined the teen did not have the airsoft gun with him and the photo was taken at an earlier date outside of the airport.

The plane was cleared for re-boarding after a security inspection but the teen was not allowed back on.
