Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis and Kiernan Shipka will star together in a new movie.

The Last Showgirl, directed by Gia Coppola, tells the story of a showgirl in her fifties who suddenly finds herself unemployed when her show abruptly closes after a 30-year run.

Struggling with what to do next, she must also repair her strained relationship with her daughter.

The all-star cast also features Guardians of the Galaxy's Dave Bautista, as well as Brenda Song and Billie Lourd.

It's written by Kate Gersten, with Robert Schwartzman and Natalie Farrey producing, with Pinky Promise's Kara Durrett and Jesse Burgum as executive producers.

Speaking to Deadline, Coppola said: "I’ve always wanted to make a movie in Vegas.

"I’m so proud of our cast and crew, especially Pamela. I can’t wait to share her daring and heartfelt performance!”

Schwartzman added: "Dream project, dream cast. We couldn’t be more honoured and appreciative of the chance to tell an authentic Las Vegas story that pays homage to the iconic showgirl, told through Gia’s unique sense of style and visual storytelling."

Last November, Anderson shared her plans to clear out her wardrobe and sell her old outfits, including her iconic Baywatch red swimsuit.

In a statement to People, Anderson explained: "I don't like to waste. Better to clear my mind, clear my closet. Make room for this new life. I can't wait to see others enjoy these pieces.

"My style has undoubtedly changed over the years, and it thrills me to think others will find the joy I did. There's no reason to hang on to it. These memories are made to share."
