Pamela Anderson Is a Glowing, Confident Queen In a Makeup-Free IG Snap

Pamela Anderson's no-makeup revolution continues on in 2024. This week, the actress, 56, showed off a totally fresh face in a new Instagram selfie, and did what she does best: Let her natural skin shine.
In the photo, Pamela is lying down on her couch with her eyes closed, wearing a simple button up white shirt and gold chain necklace. "I took off the mask and the world opened up… 🤍," she captioned the photo.
Of course, her followers absolutely adored the snap, and shared lots of love in the comments section of the post. "This pic is so good ❤️❤️ peaceful," Pamela's son Brandon Lee commented. Another fan wrote, "Thanks Pamela for making me more comfortable with my aging self!", and another said, "Natural beauty 🤍✨."
Curious to know more about how she gets such clear, glowing skin? Well, Pamela shared a bit about her decision to ditch makeup in a recent interview with ELLE. Sadly, she explained that her makeup artist, Alexis Vogel, died in 2019 after battling breast cancer. And since then, she's just gone without makeup.
“She was the best. And since then, I just felt, without Alexis, it’s just better for me not to wear makeup,” she shared. She also added that her no-makeup look is “freeing, fun and a little rebellious" for her.
That's not all, though. Pamela also told PEOPLE that her no-makeup look is about embracing who she is today. "I call it Life-ing, not aging," she said. "Chasing youth is futile. All we can do is embrace who we are at the moment we are in, and be okay with where our feet stand right now."
True to her word, she practices what she preaches. Earlier this week, Pamela shared on Instagram that she has become co-founder and owner of her own vegan and cruelty-free skincare company, Sonsie.
"To me, true beauty is about celebrating authenticity… I want to look like myself, feel like myself, and that means taking care of myself — inside and out," Pamela shared in her post.
While she's probably busy using her new Sonsie products right now, Pamela has shared some of her holy-grail skincare products in the past.
For starters, Pamela is big on sunscreen (her favorite is Summer Fridays’ ShadeDrops Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Mineral Milk Sunscreen), per British Vogue. She also uses Knesko’s Rose Quartz Antioxidant Collagen Face Mask and the Amethyst Hydrate Collagen Face Mask, she shared with ELLE.
