Palm Beach restaurants offer special Passover meal selections. See what they include.

When Passover begins April 22 with revered traditions, rituals and storytelling through April 30, some Palm Beach restaurants will offer special menus and dishes on April 22-23.

In addition to the French-American restaurant’s regular menus, a three-course Passover menu will be offered from 5:30 to 10 p.m. on April 22 and 23.

Advance reservations for tables are required for the special menu, which is $135 for adults and $65 for children younger than 10.

The meal starts with such choices as matzo-ball soup, beet salad, Balik salmon (with cucumber, dill, salmon roe and radish) and chicken-liver mousse with cornichon and matzo.

Grouper served with fennel, tomato and citrus vierge; half-roasted chicken with potatoes, leeks and pine-nut gremolata; and beef brisket with heirloom carrots, Swiss chard, hazelnuts, pickled onion and lemon-oregano sauce are among the entrée selections.

Entrees will be served at table with family-style side dishes: cauliflower with couscous and walnuts, potato kugel and carrots with dates.

For dessert, guests enjoying the Passover menu can choose from crème brulee, “exotic” pavlova or flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sorbet.

At Restaurant 44, a three-course prix-fixe Passover menu will be served from 5 to 9 p.m. on April 23.

Advance reservations are required for the Passover menu ($78 a person).

After matzo-ball soup, guests will be served Creekstone Farms Prime-grade beef brisket with pan jus, plus a variety of side dishes served family style at each table.

Latkes, grilled asparagus, tzimmes and charoset are the family-style side dishes, and citrus-almond cake with blueberry sauce will be served for dessert.

For $29.99 a person, TooJay’s is featuring a multi-course Passover prix-fixe menu for dine-in or takeout on April 22 and April 23.

The menu includes matzo-ball soup; choice of chopped liver or gefilte fish; choice of beef brisket, baked salmon with dill Hollandaise or roasted chicken entrees; and macaroons for dessert.

The meal also includes such side dishes as potato pancakes and carrot tzimmes, as well as a glass of kosher wine (dine-in only), coffee or tea.

Small or large group meals also are offered for takeout or delivery.

The small-group meal serves five people ($149.95) and includes two quarts of matzo-ball soup; choice of beef brisket, baked salmon with dill Hollandaise or herb-roasted chicken; potato latkes and carrot tzimmes side dishes; one pound of macaroons; and a gallon of tea.

The large group meal serves 10 ($295.99) and includes four quarts of matzo-ball soup; two entrees serving 10 (beef brisket, baked salmon with dill Hollandaise or herb-roasted chicken); potato pancakes and tzimmes; an almond cake; and two gallons of tea.

Guests at Almond Palm Beach can enjoy a couple of Passover specials that will be offered April 22 and April 23.

The restaurant at the east end of Royal Poinciana Way will feature (in addition to its regular menus) matzo ball soup ($21) and a red wine-braised beef brisket entrée with glazed carrots and dill ($44).

“We have always welcomed guests at Passover,” said Bismark Irving, general manager at Almond. “Many people come to enjoy our Passover specials, which often sell out.”
