The 2021 U.S. Open begins on Thursday morning.

Paige Spiranac will be among those in attendance. The former collegiate golfer turned sports media personality will be taking in the major tournament for the first time. This year’s U.S. Open is set to take place at Torrey Pines in California.

The former collegiate golfer turned social media superstar summed up her excitement for the tournament on Twitter.

“The first round of the US Open starts tomorrow and I’m so excited. It’s my first time going. I set my outfit, have everything ready, and probably won’t sleep. Feels like the first day of school but 100 times better,” she tweeted.

Earlier this week, Spiranac revealed her picks for the U.S. Open.

Spiranac’s favorite is Jon Rahm, who is still looking for his first major win. Rahm was in control at The Memorial earlier this month, though he was unable to compete in the final round due to a positive COVID-19 test.

“He’s the player to beat, in my opinion,” Spiranac said of Rahm.

Spiranac also likes Bryson DeChambeau and Collin Morikawa, along with Justin Rose as a “sleeper” pick.

The 2021 U.S. Open is scheduled to begin at 9:45 a.m. E.T.
