The Green Bay Packers shocked NFL gamblers when they beat up the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and now the team is heading to northern California to play the San Francisco 49ers Saturday.

The 49ers are a Super Bowl contender with a 12-5 record. The Packers, on the other hand, had to win their final game against the Chicago Bears to make the playoffs.

In the Milwaukee-area, gamblers bet big on the Packers at the Potawatomi Sportsbook.

"We had the most bets for the biggest liability for an individual event to date on the game for the Packers. Of course, that means it went well for the bettors," Justin Arnett, vice president of digital gaming for Potawatomi, said. "And no so much for the sportsbook."

Arnett said the casino does not reveal specific numbers on events but added "the sportsbook was electric with a lot of excited people. We are looking forward to next week’s game."

The Potawatomi Sportsbook opened in March 2023, and gamblers can place their bets at the casino in Milwaukee.

Now the Packers are two wins away from a Super Bowl, but the odds are still against them.

What is the point spread for Packers vs. 49ers?

The 49ers are favored by 9.5 points, which is larger than the 7.5 the Packers faced against the Cowboys.

But in a one-game sample size, anything can happen.

During the season the 49ers offense averaged nearly 400 yards of total offense and 28.9 points per-game, third in the league.

However, the Packers just took down the top scoring team in the NFL.

What's the early money line for the Packers vs. 49ers game?

BETMGM has the money line for the Packers at +375, which means a $100 bet gets you $375. The 49ers are heavy favorites at -500, which means you win $100 if you bet $550 on the 49ers.

The total has been set at 50.5, according to BETMGM.

Packers chances to make the Super Bowl?

The Packers had a 1% chance to make the Super Bowl at +6500 at the beginning of the season. After making the playoffs and heading into the Cowboys game, the Packers were +9000 to make the Super Bowl.

But the win has the oddsmakers rethinking their bets. The Packers are now +2800 to make the Super Bowl, according to BetMGM.

What is the 49ers record at home vs. Packers record on the road?

The 49ers are 12-5 overall and 5-3 at home. San Francisco is actually better on the road with a 7-2 record.

The Packers ended the season with a losing road record at 4-5. Overall, the Packers ended the season 9-8 but are on a four-game winning streak.

Rest vs. rust?

The NFL season is often referred to as a grind, so players are looking to rest whenever they can. But when the Packers take on the 49ers, Brock Purdy will be taking the field for the first time in three weeks.

But in speaking to NBC Sports Bay Area, Purdy is not worried about being rusty.

“There’s that rest vs. rust component," Purdy said. "I think that’s more with the mental part of it — the decision-making, the speed of the game and being on top of it.”

But the Packers are one of the hottest teams in football, winners of their last four games.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love has played at an MVP level and since Nov. 19 he has thrown 21 touchdowns and only one interception.
