GREEN BAY - The entertainment calendar in January is lighter than any other month, but the Green Bay Packers' divisional round playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers at 7:15 p.m. Saturday still means a couple of local events are getting shuffled around, while others are carrying on as scheduled.

Gamblers hockey game moves to the afternoon

The Green Bay Gamblers vs. Youngstown Phantoms game originally scheduled for 6:05 p.m. Saturday at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon has been moved up to 3 p.m.

The Hispanic Heritage Night events planned around the game will go on, including a pregame Latin market, entertainment and dancers and a winter hat and jacket collection. A postgame concert by Milwaukee band Klan 414 in the adjoining Resch Expo has been canceled.

Tickets are $13 to $40, and are available at ticketstaronline.com and by calling 800-895-0071.

For Broadway's Rock of Ages Band, show must go on

There's no stopping the '80s rock of Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Quiet Riot and Twisted Sister. A tour stop by Broadway's Rock of Ages Band, featuring musicians from the original cast of the Broadway production of "Rock of Ages," will go on as scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Meyer Theatre in Green Bay. Tickets are $42 to $62 at ticketstaronline.com.

Red Star Express at Cup O Joy is still a go

Wisconsin bluegrass band Red Star Express is still on for a 7:30 p.m. show Saturday at Cup O Joy in Green Bay. The venue had to cancel a performance during last weekend's blizzard and didn't want to have to do it again this weekend, said director Jan Oettinger. A lot of work goes into hosting each show, she said.

Doors open at 6:45 p.m. There is no cover charge, but donations are accepted. For information on paid reserved seats and early bird pass tickets, visit cupojoy.com.

ComedyCity sticking with its regular Saturday shows

ComedyCity didn't see a noticeable dip in attendance for its shows on New Year's Eve when the Packers played the Minnesota Vikings, so the De Pere-based improv troupe is going to stick with its regular Saturday schedule of a family fun show at 6:30 p.m. and a grown-up show at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $7.50 to $10 for the early show and $10 to $15 for the late show at comedycity.net.
