Pacers set to play two games in Paris against Victor Wembnyama, Spurs in 2025

INDIANAPOLIS — The NBA scheduled a homecoming trip for 7-4 French phenom Victor Wembanyama and chose the Pacers to play against his Spurs in Paris .

The league announced Monday the Pacers will play San Antonio in two NBA Paris Games next season on Jan. 23 and 25.

The Spurs finished 22-60 this season, but Wembanyama averaged 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 3.6 blocks in his rookie season after going No. 1 overall in last year's draft. He's a finalist for both Rookie of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors.

“The Pacers enjoy tremendous support from fans globally, and we are excited about the opportunity to be a part of the NBA’s efforts to continue bringing the game to new generations of fans all around the world,” Pacers president Kevin Pritchard said in a news release announcing the Paris trip.
