Owner of new Springfield business wants to be hub for social gatherings

Planning a special event soon in Springfield? Consider AR Luxury Event Spaces, a new business on the city's southeast side. an upcoming business on the southeast side whose mission is to bring Springfield a unique and inclusive event space for moments they’ll never forget.

The business, located at 675 E. Linton Ave., plans to host at least two community events monthly.

Owned and operated by Springfield native Kaia Griffin, AR Luxury Event Spaces is a dream for the CEO to provide her community a thriving place to be in the city.

“I plan to do community outreach and development with other businesses and non-profit organization,” Griffin said in a statement, “To strengthen the Springfield community through collaboration.”

The Real Estate Group agent Curtis Tillet listed the building online for lease before it was converted into 2,500-square-foot event space. It was previously a Springfield office branch of the American Cancer Society.

The business will be the latest Black-owned business in Springfield and a place Griffin, a Springfield Public Schools District 186 graduate, hopes can bring people together.

“I envision this space as a hub for a variety of gatherings,” Griffin said. “From the most heartwarming wedding receptions and baby showers to professional workplace dinners, educational classes, and dynamic pop-up shops.”

More information will be put onto the company’s website at arleventspaces.com, where customers can order ahead and choose the option to rent and decorate rooms for their events personally or pay extra services to have event decorators make their vision come true for them.
