There’s a catch, though — it’s the last remaining building in a ghost town.

“Up for consideration is an amazing piece of history! It’s the last building standing from the Main Street of the ghost town Clements Kansas, situated in a great location in the Flint Hills,” the listing on Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices says.

“It’s the perfect setup for an (Airbnb), hunting cabin, or man cave. This was the Post Office for the town in the 1880s. It was later the town store and was completely covered with metal and painted silver, so it was known as the Silver Store.”

The town used to be called Crawfordsville and was home to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad, according to Legends of Kansas, but changed its name “to honor the auditor of the Santa Fe Railway, H.G. Clements.” The town grew over the years, and more buildings were added.

“However, in the next decades, the community endured fires and numerous floods, and the once busy settlement began to fade,” Legends of Kansas says. “Its post office closed on February 1, 1988. Today, little remains except for the beautiful stone arch bridge, ruins, a couple of old buildings, and the former post office.”
