Owen Wilson Makes Rare Appearance With His Young Sons in Enthusiastic New Game Day Footage

Actor Owen Wilson had multiple reasons to celebrate recently, as the star got some quality time with his two sons, Robert "Ford", 13, and Finn, 10, while also catching the Los Angeles Football Club play a great game.

The football club shared a clip of Wilson and his kids celebrating on the sidelines with other fans, including a couple of professional hockey players, as the team made a major move in the game against the New York Red Bulls on April 21. The two little boys jumped up and cheered excitedly with their father, feeling the energy, with all three Wilsons rocking LAFC gear.

"Sideline Celebrations 🙌," read the caption. The LAFC went on to tie the game with the Red Bulls with a two to two final score.

Wilson is quite private about his relationship with his kids, making this a rare family outing. The actor has three children with three different women, welcoming eldest Ford with then-girlfriend Jade Duell in 2011, and Finn with Caroline Lindqvist a few years later.

He reportedly had a daughter with ex-girlfriend Varunie Vongsvirates in 2018 named Lyla, although Vongsvirates claimed that he is not actively involved in her life.

The Wedding Crashers star shared a bit about his sons during a 2017 visit to Ellen, showing off photos of the brothers bonding and commenting about their close relationship.

"Ford is very, kind of protective of [Finn]," he said. "He doesn't even call him by his name, he always calls him his baby brother." Wilson said Ford even "cautions me" around the baby, telling him to shave before kissing Finn.

Looking at the new video of Wilson with his sons, they've grown a lot, and the resemblance between them is obvious. So far, it's unclear if the boys have any interest in following in their father's footsteps into the entertainment industry.
