Oshkosh Public Museum Director Sarah Phillips leaving for position at Idaho State Museum

OSHKOSH — Oshkosh Public Museum is in search of a new director.

Sarah Phillips, who has served as OPM's director since December 2021, is leaving to be director of Idaho State Museum at the Idaho State Historical Society. Her last day at the Oshkosh museum is May 10.

“Someone with Sarah’s skillset is unique, and it is obvious that the state of Idaho thinks so as well,” Oshkosh City Manager Mark Rohloff said in a news release.

“In her time with the city and the Oshkosh Public Museum, she has energized the museum and highlighted the many assets of the museum, bringing greater awareness to the cultural asset that we have in Oshkosh,” Rohloff added.
