Oregon (11-16, 2-12 Pac-12) at Washington (13-12, 3-11 Pac-12)

Time/date: 7 p.m., Friday

Site: Alaska Airlines Arena; Seattle

TV: Pac-12 Network. Radio: KUGN 98.1 FM.

About the matchup: Both teams come into Friday’s matchup in desperate need of a win. The Ducks have lost nine in a row, and the Huskies have lost six, and both could shoot up the rankings with a win on Friday and build some momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season. Both teams rank near the bottom of the Pac-12 in scoring offense, but the Huskies boast a top-3 defense, holding opponents to less than 60 points per game.

About the Ducks: Suffering through its toughest stretch of the season, Oregon hasn’t won in over a month and has lost each of its last four games by more than 20 points, albeit against top-20 ranked teams. Once a middle-of-the-pack defense, the Ducks have allowed more than 70 points in their last four matchups and have struggled to string together stops without guard Sofia Bell. Grace VanSlooten continues to lead the scoring charge, averaging 15.2 points per game.

About the Huskies: Once a top-25 ranked team, the Huskies won their first 11 games of the season, but have gone 2-12 since, and 3-11 in conference play. Still, UW has a top-3 ranked defense, and a couple of players that can score on any given night if they get hot. Elle Ladine (11.9 PPG), Lauren Schwartz (11.8 PPG) and Dalayah Daniels (11.5 PPG) lead the Huskies in scoring.
